WHAT IS REIKI?
Ancient Holistic Healing Therapy - Energy Work
Reiki is a gentle, holistic healing practice that channels universal life-force energy to promote balance, relaxation, and well-being on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels.
Originating from Japan, the word Reiki comes from two Japanese words:

"Rei" meaning “universal” or “divine wisdom,”

"Ki" meaning “life force energy.”
During a Reiki session, a practitioner acts as a conduit for this healing energy, placing their hands lightly on or just above the body. The energy flows where it is needed most, helping to clear energetic blockages, reduce stress, and support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.
Reiki is non-invasive, safe for all ages, and complements both traditional and alternative medical treatments. Many describe the experience as deeply calming, restorative, and spiritually uplifting.
HOW DOES REIKI HEAL?
Energy imbalances can arise from a variety of emotional, mental, or physical stressors—sometimes without our conscious awareness. These blockages can disrupt the natural flow of life-force energy, leading to discomfort or dis-ease on multiple levels.
Reiki works by gently flowing into the areas of the energy field that have been affected by these imbalances. It infuses the body and aura with high-vibrational, healing energy, raising the energetic frequency where negative thoughts, emotions, or stagnation may have settled. As this positive energy flows in, it helps to dissolve and release the dense, unhealthy energy—clearing and realigning the pathways so that healing can take place naturally.
When energy flows freely, the body’s innate ability to heal is reactivated, allowing physical organs and tissues to restore themselves with greater ease and balance.

What Is Distant Reiki?
Distant Reiki, also known as remote Reiki, is a form of energy healing where Reiki is sent across time and space to a recipient who is not physically present with the practitioner. This is possible because Reiki operates beyond the limitations of the physical realm—it works within the universal energy field, which connects all beings through consciousness and intention.
Distant Reiki is just as powerful and effective as in-person sessions, offering the same deep relaxation, balance, and healing benefits. It allows you to receive the support you need from the comfort of your own home—or wherever you may be.

What to Expect During a Reiki Session
The practitioner will spend a little time before the session explaining what Reiki is and how the session will proceed and also discuss the client’s needs, intentions and expectations. Reiki is usually performed on a client while laying down comfortably. The environment is set to promote relaxation, often featuring soft lighting and calming music. Reiki can be administered with a gentle, light touch or completely hands-off, depending on the client’s preference. The practitioner will also inform the client of the hand positions they will be using. Traditional hand placements are frequently used on and around the head, neck, upper chest/shoulders, abdomen, knees and feet, but may also go to where the practitioner may feel guided.
The Reiki healing energy puts the patient in a parasympathetic state (a deep state of relaxation) which allows the healing energy to work. Some patients may fall asleep, some patients may also feel; tingling in parts of their body, waves of subtle energy gently moving through their body, sensations of heat or cold, seeing colors or visions, some crying my occur because of the release of negative and blocked energy, some may feel nothing but deep relaxation. If you feel nothing rest assured that Reiki is always working. Reiki leaves the patient feeling relaxed and renewed. Reiki can be an excellent COMPLEMENT in your healthcare or wellness plan. It takes into account the whole person and helps activate each patient’s natural healing processes restoring their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. this process is the same for Distant Reiki.
Chronic or long-standing imbalances may benefit from multiple sessions to support the level of relaxation needed for the body to activate its natural healing abilities.

Reiki Angelic Alchemy Healing is a term given to the practice which integrates the use of ancient sacred alchemy and energy work -(Reiki) with the aid of the Angelic's and Ascended Masters of creation.
